Third Day-Morning Session
Conference was resumed in the Tabernacle, at 10 a. m., Tuesday, April 6th; President Joseph F. Smith presiding.
The congregation sang the hymn:
O ye mountains high, where the clear blue sky
Arches over the vales of the free,
Where the pure breezes blow and the clear streamlets flow,
How I've longed to your bosom to flee.
Elder John L. Herrick offered the opening prayer.
The congregation sang the hymn:
Now let us rejoice in the day of salvation;
No longer as strangers on earth need we roam.
Good tidings are sounding to us and each nation,
And shortly the hour of redemption will come.
